All About Me!
|
OK, let me sum it up and add the details in my next update in a month or two: I was born on March 28th, 1965 in London, England, to a German mother and Pakistani father. Virtually my entire life has been spent in Great Britain, Germany and Pakistan, with approximately equal time being spent in each of these three countries. I have travelled quite extensively, visiting Austria, Belgium, France, Holland, Italy, Canada and the United States. I hold dual British and Pakistani citizenship, speak fluent English and German, and have a working knowledge of Urdu. I am unmarried. I graduated in 1990 with a Diplom in Business Administration from the University of Trier, with a Magister in Public Administration in 2000 from the German University of Administrative Sciences Speyer, and with a doctoral degree from that same university in 2004. In my professional life, I worked briefly for a Pakistani consulting firm, for the Hanns-Seidel Foundation of Munich, Germany, and for the Institute of Strategic Studies, Islamabad. Presently, I'm an Assistant Professor in the Department of Management Sciences at the COMSATS Institute of Information Technology, which is a large and rapidy expanding public-sector university in Pakistan.
